Remark: The linear border occurs only on some coins of variant d. It is clearly visible, for example, on this specimen: Savoca Coins, 133rd Silver Auction (15 May 2022), Lot 109 (acsearch.info URL). Some coins probably have no border on the obverse, for example: Numismatik Naumann, Auction 63 (4 March 2018), Lot 52 (acsearch.info URL)

Remark: The head on the obverse of the coin is described as Aphrodite in some sources (SNG France 2, SNG Levante, Klein 1999 and some auction catalogues). However, it is possible to recognize a wreath, and therefore it is most likely a depiction of young Dionysos (Apollo does not appear on Nagidos coins). Nicolet-Pierre 2005, p. 31, note 38, also identifies this image as a juvenile Dionysos. Note that the young Dionysus is also depicted on Type 5.7 (silver obol).
